Introduction
This manual describes the KTUS15/mITX family of boards made by KONTRON Technology A/S.
All boards have included Intel Atom Processors (BGA) processors, either 1.1GHz or 1.6GHz Ultra Low
Power, depending on actual board configuration. The Intel® US15W chipset is used on all configurations.

Use of this manual implies a basic knowledge of PC-AT hardware and software. This manual is focused on
describing the KTUS15 board’s special features and is not intended to be a standard PC-AT textbook.
New users are recommended to study the short installation procedure stated in chapter 2 before switching-
on the power.
All configuration and setup of the CPU board is either done automatically or by the user in the CMOS setup
menus. Except for the CMOS Clear jumper and the Boot BIOS ROM Selection jumper, no jumper
configuration is required.
