[S Removing the Film Cartridge
The film rewinds automatically when it reaches the end.
The frame counter counts down as the film rewinds When the
film is fully rewound, the frame counter shows “0" and the O
icon blinks.
• You can use the CF3 custom function setting to prevent the
camera from automatically rewinding when it reaches the end
of the film. 44)

Check that the
O
icon
is biinking.
• If the O icon is not blinking,
press the button, (->11)
Open the fiim cartridge
compartment cover.
•Turn the crank to open the
cover and take out the film
cartridge
^The 0
icon on the LCD
panel disappears
^The visual exposure
indicator on the film
cartridge has changed to
03 (exposed).
To remove the fiim cartridge in mid-roii
■ Press the button. (->11)
■ When you remove the film
cartridge, the visual exposure
indicator on the cartridge
changes to 03 (exposed).
