Expanding a part of the expression
To expand parts of the expression, you must work from within Equation
Writer. For example, to expand the first two components of the
expression in the previous example, perform the following.

Open Equation Writer and create the
expression.
Use either Cursor mode or Selection
mode to select the first two component
expressions only. For example, if the
cursor is positioned on the first term in
the expression,
