USER SET
Menu option Set this option to
OSD • ON to display the menu on the TV sereen.
• OFF to disappear the menu from the TV sereen.
TAPE SELECT • E180 to use anE-180 or shorter type tape.
• E240 to use an E-240 type tape.
• E260 to use an E-260 type tape.
• E300 to use an E-300 type tape.
COLOUR SYSTEM • AUTO to seleet the eolour system automatieally.
• PAL to use the tape reeorded in the PAL eolour system.
• B/W to use the tape reeorded in blaek and white.
FORMAT 16:9*‘ • AUTO when you use a wide sereen TV. The VCR
automatieally deteets if programmes being played baek
or reeorded are in normal or wide sereen format.
• ON if the VCR eannot deteet wide sereen TV
programmes with AUTO. The VCR always plays baek
and reeords in wide sereen format.
• OFF if you are not using a wide sereen TV.
NICAM*2 • ON to reeord NICAM broadeasts on the hi-fi audio
traek.
• OFF to reeord standard sound on the hi-fi audio traek.
