Removing the SIM Card Reader
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
ExpressCard
, if applicable.
3.
Remove the
SD card
, if applicable.
4.
Remove the
base cover
.
5.
Remove the
battery
.
6.
Slide the white latch to disconnect the flex cable from the SIM card reader.
7.
Remove the screw that secures the SIM card reader to the computer.
8.
Remove the SIM card reader from the computer.
Replacing the SIM Card Reader
To replace the SIM card reader, perform the above steps in reverse order.
