Removing the Display Panel
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
ExpressCard
, if applicable.
3.
Remove the
SD card
, if applicable.
4.
Remove the
base cover
.
5.
Remove the
display bezel
.
6.
Remove the screws that secure the display panel to the display cover.
7.
Carefully flip the display panel towards the keyboard.
8.
Remove the adhesive tape that secures the display-panel cable to the display cover.
9.
Remove the display panel from the computer.
Replacing the Display Panel
To replace the display panel, perform the above steps in reverse order.
