Misfeed at Tray 1 (MPT)
1. Remove paper including jammed paper from Tray 1 (MPT).
2. Make sure that the paper is clean and not stuck together.
3. Insert paper in Tray 1 (MPT). See the following illustrations for proper paper orientation.
Long-Edge Feed (LEF)
Single-Sided Printing 2-Sided Printing
• Pre-punched holes should enter the printer
first.
• Letterhead should be face down at the back of
the tray.
• Pre-punched holes should enter the printer
last.
• Letterhead should be face up at the back of the
tray.
Short-Edge Feed (SEF)
Single-Sided Printing 2-Sided Printing
• Pre-punched holes should be at the front of
the printer.
• Letterhead should be face down and enter the
printer first.
• Pre-punched holes should be towards the front
of the printer.
• Letterhead should be face up and enter the
printer last.
