You can assign predefined functionalities to the memory keys. Memory keys allow you
to use quick access features such as SMS and Voice Mail. The memory keys will indicate
the monitoring status when the keys are assigned specific features, such as BLF and
Shared Line. The default key type of each memory key is N/A, which indicates that this
memory key provides no functionality.
To configure the memory key via phone user interface:
1. Tap ->Call Feature->DSS Keys->Memory Keys.
2. Tap to page up or to page down.
3. Tap the desired memory key.
4. Tap the pull-down list of Type and then select the desired key type.
5. (Optional.) Tap the pull-down list of Key Type and then select the desired type.
6. (Optional.) Tap the pull-down list of Account ID and then select the desired line. If
Auto is selected, the phone will use the first registered account.
7. (Optional.) Enter the key label that will display on the LCD screen in the Label field.
8. (Optional.) Enter the corresponding value in the Value field.
9. (Optional.) Enter the corresponding value in the Extension field.
10. Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.
11. Tap to return to the idle screen.
You can tap and then tap the desired memory key for one second to quick
access to the configuration interface. You can also configure the memory key via web
user interface at the path DSS Key->Memory Key.
