7. Touch the OK button to confirm.
8. Start the run by touching the OK button on the run confirm window.
Monitoring a Run
During a run, the status buttons on the home screen (buttons contains an icon of the
instrument and time remaining) provide a quick way to monitor all blocks.
To see the detailed run status for a particular thermal cycler, touch the status button for the
cycler of interest.
NOTE: If a thermal cycler has a dual 48/48 reaction module, you may touch the
individual reaction blocks labeled A and B to see the detailed run status of each
block. Once on the status screen, choose other reaction blocks to view by
selecting them from the dropdown list.
9. For an actively running block, touch View Clock to switch between screens showing
status graphically (Figure 21) and status by time remaining (Figure 22).
