Database
This option serves as a toggle button to show or hide the database navigation
pane on the main screen. A check symbol () displayed beside the Database
option on the menu indicates the database currently displays on the main
screen. Selecting this option (removing the check) hides the database.
Messages
This option serves as a toggle button to show or hide the Messages dialog.
Once displayed, the user can close the dialog by either clicking on the close
button on the dialog or selecting the Messages option on the menu.
Properties
The Properties option displays the Properties dialog.
