7 Beamforming Microphone Array
Slide the Trim Plate onto the bottom of the Suspension Column extending through the ceiling tile.
This must be done before fastening the Mic Mounting Plate. The Trim Plate will later be positioned
to cover the hole in the ceiling tile when the unit is secured in the drop-ceiling. The friction pads in
the Trim Plate will hold it in position on the Suspension Column.
Use the screws to fasten the Mic Mounting Plate to the bottom of the Suspension Column.
Sliding the Trim Plate down
may loosen the friction pads.
If the Trim Plate must be slid
down, ensure the friction
pads are firmly pressed
down before proceeding.

Use #1 Phillips screwdriver bit
to avoid damaging screws.

» NOTE: The Mic Mounting Plate can be rotated 90-degrees and then attached for
applications where the microphone orientation is rotated from the mounting of the
Suspension Column.
