3.11 Optional Remote Arc Starter
A. Mounting Arc Starter Box
Mount the Arc Starter Box to the cutting table gantry per
the following procedure:
1. Remove the four screws securing the cover to the base
assembly of the Arc Starter Box.

2. Slide the cover up and off the base assembly.

3. Mount the base assembly of the Arc Starter Box to the
cutting table gantry using the four holes provided in
the base.
NOTE
The last page of this Manual has a full size hole
template for use in locating the mounting holes.

B. Connecting Torch
WARNING
Disconnect primary power at the source before dis-
assembling the torch or torch leads.
The Torch Leads connect directly to a bulkhead inside
the Remote Arc Starter. Connect the Torch Leads per the
following procedure:
1. Remove the cover from the Remote Arc Starter if
installed.
2. Feed the torch leads through the boot on the torch
end of the Remote Arc Starter.
3. Connect the torch leads connectors to the bulkhead
connections per the following figure.
