If you work in Metric vs. Imperial measurements, you can set your cal-
culator to “Metric Mode,” where settings or answers are defaulted to
the above metric values. To set the calculator to Metric Mode,
press
the digit [1] key while turning the calculator on. To return to Impe-
rial Mode, repeat this procedure.

Note: Removing the battery or a dead battery will cause the calcula-
tor to revert to the default of Imperial Mode.
