De geleidegattest uitvoeren
Zodra u hebt bepaald dat een locatie geschikt is voor één luidspreker, dient u de wand of het
plafond te testen voor de tweede luidspreker voordat u grotere gaten maakt. Zie “Een
geleidegat boren om de wandruimte te testen” op pagina 9 en herhaal die stappen.
Als de locatie voor de eerste luidspreker goed is, maar niet voor de tweede, dient u mogelijk
beide luidsprekers op een nieuwe locatie te installeren.
Een geleidegat repareren
Vul het geleidegat met stopverf. Laat de stopverf drogen en voeg meer toe totdat het gat iets
te vol is. Zodra het gebied helemaal droog is, schuurt u het zodat het gelijk met de wand is.
De wand voorbereiden op het invoegen van de luidspreker
Wees voorzichtig bij de volgende stappen zodat u tevreden kunt zijn met het eindresultaat.
WAARSCHUWING: Dit is een goed tijdstip om te overwegen of u gerustgesteld aan deze taak
kunt beginnen. Als u twijfels hebt over het snijden in een wand of het aanleggen van kabel achter
de wand, is dit een goed tijdstip om te stoppen. U kunt een professionele installateur raadplegen,
de taak beschrijven en een prijsopgave aanvragen voordat u de installateur inhuurt.
WAARSCHUWING: Als u denkt dat de isolatie in een wand asbest bevat, dient u niet in de
wand te snijden. Zoek een andere locatie om de luidsprekers te installeren.
De uit te snijden opening meten en markeren
U hebt een waterpas, een scherp potlood en mogelijk plakband voor de sjabloon nodig
om deze stap te voltooien.
1. Plaats de sjabloon zorgvuldig over het geleidegat waar u één luidspreker wilt installeren.
2. Zorg dat de sjabloon waterpas is (Figuur 14).

3. Bevestig de sjabloon met plakbond of houd hem goed op zijn plaats terwijl u rond de
zijkanten en de bovenste rand van het WITTE UITSNIJGEBIED traceert.
