Installing ODS

If you see the message:
then:
A directory called \IMC already exists (on
drive c:). If you are certain that this directory
was created by an earlier version of
Allen-Bradley’s ODS, then proceed with the
installation. Otherwise, press CTRL-C now
and verify that this directory may be
overwritten.

The hard disk contains the
directory \IMC.
IMC files already exist in the
directory. Follow the instruction
on the screen. (Most ODS files
are installed in this directory.)

Important:
Pay particular attention to the following when
you install ODS software:
•
If you press any key to continue, files stored in the \IMC
directory are overwritten.
•
If you are not sure this is acceptable, press
[CTRL-C]
to abort
installation.
•
Check files stored in the \IMC directory.
•
Copy any files that need to be saved to another directory; delete
the files from the \IMC directory.
•
Start installation again.
