After disassembling the motor end guard, the spindle can be traversed by hand. In an
emergency situation, the cover can be removed and the motor shaft can be turned with a
10-mm wrench.
Stop!
With opened end guard, the encoder system is unprotected - the enclosure is
cancelled. Look out for sensitive components!
Ensure correct seating of the seals during the assembly!
9.3 Repair
