Measures
Error messages: “Check
Probe and Cable”. Red
LED flashes quickly.
Broken connection
between probe and
instrument
Check that the probe
cable is properly con-
nected to the probe and
the instrument. If the fault
persists, replace the
probe/cable.
Software problems
Install the software
Broken Main PCB
Replace Main PCB
Broken Probe PCB
Replace Probe PCB
Error messages: “Error”
Error in Active Probe
See Probe Manual.
Error messages: “Check
Sensor, Voltage Error”
Sensor voltage from the
gas sensor out of the
range 300 - 3500 mV
Check that the sensor is
properly connected to the
probe. If the fault persists,
replace the sensor.
Error messages: “Check
Sensor, Temp.”
Diode voltage from the
gas sensor out of the
range 544 - 612 mV
Check that the sensor is
properly connected to the
probe. If the fault persists,
replace the sensor.
No sound in Detection
Mode and
Analysis Mode.
Sound set low
Press the + button repeat-
edly.
Broken speaker
Replace the speaker
No picture on display, no
sound
Fuse broken
Check the fuse.
Broken Main Cable

Display setting may be

Watch the display from
the side at a low angle
and aim a lamp at the
screen. Try to see the text
