Function Keys/Hot Keys
The function keys (F1 - F12 etc.) will act as hot keys when pressed while the Fn key is held down. Table 1 - 4,
on page 1 - 11 gives details of function key combinations, hot key buttons and visual indicators.
In addition to the basic function key combinations visual indicators are available when the hot key driver is in-
stalled (see
“Hot Key Utility (Model A & B Computers)” on page E - 38 / “Hot Key Utility (Model C Comput-
ers)” on page E - 38 ). After installing the driver an icon will appear in the taskbar.
The hot key buttons give quick access to the default internet browser and e-mail program . The PC Camera
buttons can be used to run the camera application, to take still pictures and to zoom the camera in/out
(Model C computers do not have zoom keys) if a PC Camera module is installed. If you have not included a PC
Camera module in your purchase option, you can install the Quick Button driver to enable you to use the hot
key buttons to launch applications of your choice (see
“Application Quick Buttons” on page E - 7 for details).
