17. Carefully insert the wicks into the buffer
tanks, creased edges facing upward.

18. Place the second polyethylene sheet
over the wicks followed by the top Teflon
sheet and the neoprene pad (Fig. N).
19. Close the lid of the apparatus and
replace the pins so they are securely in
place (Fig. O).
