Configuration Guide for Directory Sync
Use the LDAP browser to collect the following information:
•
User name and password to connect to your LDAP server
•
The proper spelling of the base DN from which to start the query
You will also need to collect the following information for Directory Sync
configuration:
•
Authorized user (name only)
•
Password (case-sensitive)
•
Host Name (no http://)
•
Path (including leading forward slash)
•
Port (no colon, just the number)
•
Server Type (IBM Lotus Notes)
•
Base DN (distinguished name)
Create batchrequest.dsml file
To complete setup, create a
batchrequest.dsml
file. The
batchrequest.dsml
file
is used to connect to the LDAP server.
