c. Route the wire to your preference. We reccom-
mend drilling a 5/16 hole into the rack in areas
show and route the wire through the rack using
Kit wire and Rubber Grommets.
4. JK,Drill 5/16" hole into the body in area show and
route wire through using Kit: Rubber Grommet..
a. Partially pull wires out of factory wire loom to tail-
gate. Locate wire and with a Test Meter or test
light and find Stop light White wire w/black
stripe (+) and Black ground Wire, cut and con-
nect wire using kit: Butt Connectors. *Note
check continuity for Black ground wire that goes
to the original factory 3rd Brake light. Careful not
to cut the other black ground wire that goes to
the Lock sensor in the Tailgate.
b. Tape Wires and return behind carpet.
