You need to install the PS driver using the following instructions.

Select Applications from the Go menu.

Open the Utilities folder.
If you use a USB cable and your Macintosh
®
is “Mac OS
®
X”,
only one printer driver for an DCP can be registered in Print
Center.
If a Brother Native Driver (DCP-8020/8025D) is already listed in
Printer list, you will need to delete it and then install the PS
driver.
To use the PS driver with a USB cable, you need to set the
Emulation to BR-Script 3 ( Menu , 3 , 1 ) before connecting
the USB cable. (See Setting the Emulation Selection on page
6-18.)
