Cancelling a Scheduled Job
This function allows you to cancel tasks that you’ve scheduled such as Delayed Fax, Delayed Polling
Receive or Polling Transmit.

Press Menu/Set, 4. Any waiting jobs appear on the display. If nothing is waiting, the screen
displays NO JOB WAITING.

If you have more than two jobs waiting, use
or
to select the job you want to cancel. Press
Menu/Set when the screen displays your selection—OR—If you have only one job waiting, go to
Step 3.

Press 1 to cancel—OR—Press 2 to exit without cancelling.

Press Stop/Exit.
Polled Transmit
Polling Transmit is when you set up your fax machine to wait with a document so another fax
machine can retrieve it.

Insert the document to be retrieved in the Automatic Document Feeder.

Press Menu/Set, 3, 8. The screen displays

to choose STANDARD, and press
Menu/Set. The screen displays

Press 1 if you want to select additional settings. The
display returns to the Setup Send menu—OR—Press 2
if you are finished choosing settings and go to Step 5.

Press Fax Start. The screen displays POLLED WAITING.
If you do not store the polled document into memory by pressing
Memory/Reports, the polled document remains on the Automatic Document
Feeder until your machine is polled. However, you can “interrupt” it to send another
fax. (See Interrupting Timer and Polled Transmit Jobs, page 38.)
The document on the Automatic Document Feeder can only be polled once unless
they had been stored in memory.
