4.3.1.4 Access point
The following is the setting procedure for the access point.
Step 1 Setting the 802.1X function at the access point
Make settings for the 802.1X function.
The following procedure is to enable the 802.1X function. The other settings of the [Basic setting]
and [Access restriction] tabs are omitted.
1.
Start the access point setting utility.

Select the [WEP] tab.

group
Select [Used] in the [802.1X] component box.
Place a check mark in the [Distribute WEP key] check box.
Do not place a check mark in the [Reauthenticate before WEP key distribution] check
box.
Set 600 in the [WEP key change interval] edit box.
Select the [Key length] radio button of [13 byte].
4. RADIUS

Place a check mark in the [RADIUS Server 1] check box.
Set a value in the [IP Address] edit box. Enter the IP address of the RADIUS server.
In this example, set 127.0.0.1.
Set a value in the [Shared Secret] edit box. Shared secret is a password for
communication between the access point and the RADIUS server. In this example, set
"my shared secret."
Set a value in the [Time-out] edit box. In this example, set 20.
