3.5.3.3 [Advanced] setup page

Notice
The setup items of the details setup page are not required for the usual operation. To change the
setup items of the details setup page, you need a detailed knowledge about the network;
therefore, do no change them unless required.
[Details setup] page
Item Explanation
[Multicast rate]
Specifies the transmission rate of multicast packets sent from
the access point.
Select 1, 2, 5.5, or 11 Mbps.
The default is 2 Mbps.
[Distance between
Access Points]
Specifies the size of the area covered by access points.
Select “Large,” “Medium,” or “Small.”
The default is “Large.”
[DTIM Period]
DTIM is an acronym of Delivery Traffic Indication Map. The
send timing of multicast packets sent from the access point can
be adjusted.
When the value is 1 (normal), a multicast packet is sent at every
beacon. When the value is 3, multicast packets are
accumulated in the buffer and sent every third beacon.
Although a value from 1 to 65535 can be specified, it is
recommended to set 1 for normal operation.
The default is 1.
[Apply] button
Ends up saving the selected item.
[Reset] button
Ends up without saving the selected item.
