7. Extend the port replicator until the extension setting indicator (shown
circled in red in the accompanying illustration) points to the appropriate
number for your computer model. To extend the port replicator, squeeze
the extension release and pull the extension out.

Connecting to a network
The network port on the TOSHIBA Express Port Replicator II provides a
connection point for a local area network (LAN) cable.
A CAT5 LAN cable is provided with the port replicator. Other LAN cable
types need to be purchased separately.
