Special features
The port replicator supports the following power-saving features, if they are
available on your computer. Refer to your computer documentation for
details.
Parallel port Connection point for a parallel printer or other parallel
device.

Serial port Connection point for a serial device.
Note: You will need to install the software driver from
the included CD before using the serial port for the
first time. For more information, see Setting up the
port replicator .
DC-IN (15V) Socket for AC adaptor.

DC IN 15V
Feature Purpose
Wake On LAN When a computer in standby or hibernation mode
is connected to the port replicator, this feature
turns on the computer when a wake-up signal is
received from a connected LAN cable.
Wake Up (USB) When a computer in standby or hibernation mode
is connected to the port replicator, this feature
turns on the computer when a wake-up signal is
received from a device connected to a USB port.
