Auto pop up
The built-in flash pops up automatically in low light or backlight conditions
while in the
AUTO or scene mode.
This allows you to stop the built-in flash from popping up automatically.

: The built-in flash pops up automatically.
[OFF] : The built-in flash will not pop up automatically.

This lets you replace the function assigned to the
< button by registering

[TEST PICTURE]
Pressing the shutter button while pressing the
< button enables you to
check the picture you have just taken on the monitor without having to
record the picture to the card. This is useful when you want to see how
a picture turned out before saving it.
