Holding the camera
Keep your fingers and the strap away from the lens and the flash.

Place the AF frame on the subject while viewing through the
viewfinder

Adjust the focus
Press the shutter button gently (halfway).
• The focus is locked when a beep tone is
output. The AF confirmation mark and the
AF focusing frame light up in the
viewfinder.
• The shutter speed and aperture value that
have been set automatically by the
camera are displayed.
• The control panel screen is not displayed
when the shutter button is pressed.
