Authentication

This page appears if an optional hard disk kit or a CompactFlash card
is installed.
Default Permission Settings

This page appears only if Public Access (in the Network - Authenti-
cation - User Authentication page) is set to Allow.
The System - Authentication - Default Permission Settings window allows
you to configure the following items.
Item Description
Function
Permission Print Select whether or not printing is permitted when
public authentication is used.
Choices: Allow, Restrict
Default: Allow
Apply button Applies the configuration settings for this window.
Clear button Resets all configuration settings to previous values.
