4.1.5 Making the account settings

Access the machine through PageScope Data Administrator.

Click the [Authentication settings].

Click the plus sign to expand [Authentication settings].

Click the [Account track settings].

Select the desired function.
– To register the account, click [Add].
– To change data registered for the account, click [Edit].
– To delete the account, click [Delete].
? What precautions should be used when registering a account or changing registered data of a ac-
count?
% If the Account Password does not meet the requirements of the Password Rules, a message ap-
pears that this particular Account Password cannot be used. Click [OK] and enter the correct Ac-
count Password. For details of the Password Rules, see
"Password Rules" on page 1-8 .
% If the Account Name has not been entered, a message appears that tells that the User Name is yet
to be entered. Click [OK] and enter the Account Name.
% A Account Name that already exists cannot be redundantly registered.
