Scale Images to Fit on Paper
Procedure
In this activity you will print a poster on a smaller sheet of paper. Let’s say that you
need to print a poster with SWOP printing standards, but you would like to first
print a proof to check that everything is in place and that the color is correct.
File Used During the Activity
In this activity, you will print the job BrendasBalcony_12x18.pdf with the following
requirements:
• Paper size: letter
• Quality: high text quality and high image quality
• Color emulation: the printout should emulate SWOP printing standards
To print the job according to the requirements above:
1. Click the suspend button in the Process Queue area, to temporarily stop the
Process Queue.
2. On the toolbar, click Import .
3. Find the folder IC301_activities folder in D:\Local Disk , and double-click it.
4. Find the job BrendasBalcony_12x18 , and double-click it.
5. In the Virtual Printer list, select _Print .
6. Click Import .
The job appears in the Process Queue .

before you perform this activity.
