Specifications for setting parameters A, C and S
In order to set parameters A, C and S, you will require the
following specifications:
–
the nominal stroke length of the cylinder (see type plate
on the drive used)
–
the valve type (see type plate on proportional directional
control valve used)
–
the maximum mass load with which the drive may be
loaded
Mass load
If you wish to position with different masses:

Positioning with a mass up to 30 % less is usually no
problem. Further reduction of the mass can result in a
deterioration in positioning behaviour and make optimisa-
tion necessary (see system manual).

If necessary, place a basic load on the drive in order to set
a higher mass. Positioning can then be made with a
higher difference of mass.

Always set the amplification and cushioning stages for the
maximum mass load used.
