7 Operation
Please note
Extreme conditions reduce the service life
of the DMSP-... / MAS-... .
S Take into account the fact that the fol-
lowing factors can considerably reduce
the service life
C (see diagram Fig. 9):
– increasing contracton h and
– additional increasing mass m,
– increasing ambient or operating
temperatures.
If pressure is applied to one side and ex-
hausted on the other side (rinsing), the
thermal stressing of the components can
be reduced and the service life of the
Fluidic Muscle thereby increased (not with
MAS-...-
MC.. and DMSP-...-CM).
S Check the DMSP-... / MAS-... for signs of aging at the following intervals.
