Warning
S Ensure that, in the movement range of
the DMSP-... / MAS-...:
–
no-one stands under the moving mass
(e.g. by using protective guards)
–
there are no foreign objects present.
The DMSP-... / MAS-... should only be
touched once the mass is in a stable
position.
With MAS-...-K with force locking:
Please note
Forces that are too high will trigger the MAS-...-K safety functions.
S Ensure that the forces produced are within the permitted range (see the
Technical Data). If the maximum permitted force is exceeded, the com-
pressed air will leak from the MAS-...-K connection flange.
If the maximum permitted forces are complied with, then the MAS-...-K is ready
for use.
With all DMSP-... / MAS-...:
S Start a test run at a low working frequency as follows:
1. Slowly pressurize the Fluidic Muscle (e.g. with a pressure build-up valve).
2. Make sure on the DMSP-... / MAS-... that:
– the required motion sequence is observed.
– the contraction is within the permitted tolerance
(max. 25 % of rated length).
– the required force is reached / the load is lifted.
– there is no leakage.
S Conclude the test run.
S Exhaust the DMSP-... / MAS-... .
