5 Fitting
Mechanical components
Please note
Certain mechanical loadings of the contrac-
tion membrane may damage the DMSP-... /
MAS-... .
S Ensure that the DMSP-... / MAS-... is
– fitted free of torsional forces.
– not fitted bent (crushed) even when
pressureless (no wrinkles).
Please note
If the thread of the adapter of type
MXAC-... is too long, the connecting thread
of the MAS-10-...-
O will be damaged (no
force limitation).
S Make sure that the thread lengths of the
adapter and the MAS-... (see Fig. 5) are
suited to each other.
S Lubricate the thread of the connecting adapter.
The assembly forces will then be reduced.
S In order to fit the adapter as described in the section “Accessories”, screw it
into the fastening thread 1.
The appropriate tightening torque is specified in the table below.
