empty food pan (3) over the water pan (5).
This will shorten the preheating time.
5.2 Mounting of the electric heating unit
• Begin by removing the heating gel
burners if they are mounted (can holder
2) (Fig. G) (see chapter 6.2) .
• Loosen the screws (8) on the base of
the water pan by turning them counter
clockwise. Stop when the resistance
increases (Fig. B).
• Install the electric heating unit (7) by
positioning it at the nuts and pushing it
lengthwise in relation to the water pan
(5) until the screws are positioned in
their slots (fig. B).
• Tighten the nuts (8) and make sure
that the unit is firmly secured (Fig. C).
Important: the electric heating unit (7)
should be supported levelly on the
base of the water pan in order to heat
efficiently.
• Remount the water pan (5) in its
support frame (Fig. D). In the case of
round water pans, pay special attention
to the positioning fasteners to avoid
incorrect mounting.
• Make sure the electrical cord (0) is
positioned correctly (26) (Fig. Aa).

They are not adapted to
the requirements of the
Fagor Chafing dishes and can result in
overheating and risk of fire.

Chafing Dishes that is not part
of its normal use may only be
done with the burners out and
the cans cold. Danger of fire and burns.
6.1 Assembly of the Chafing Dish (Fig. A)
• Remove the packaging, place the
Chafing dish on a flat stable surface
and close the lid ().
• Lift the closed lid ().
• In the case of Chafing Dish models
CDRT-A, CDRT-V, CDROUND-A,
CDSOP-A, CDROUND-V, CDSOP-V,
CDC-E and CDR-E remove the food
pan (3), the support frame (4) if there is
one, and the water pan (5).
6.2 Mounting the can holder
• If a heating unit is installed (7), the can
holder should be removed (see section
5.2 and Figure B).
