Preparation 1 Charge the Battery

Connect the power cable in the order indicated below.

Insert the included Rechargeable Li-ion
Battery EN-EL12 into the included Battery
Charger MH-65 by sliding the battery
forward (1), and then press down until it
locks into place (2).

• The CHARGE lamp starts flashing when charging

starts.

• A fully-exhausted battery charges in about 2 hours

and 30 minutes.

• When charging is complete, the CHARGE lamp lights.
• See “Understanding the CHARGE Lamp” (A 11).

When charging is complete, remove the battery, and then unplug the
charger.
