Welcome Screen
Select whether or not the welcome screen is displayed when the camera is turned on.
Enter shooting mode or playback mode M flexible button 4 (l) M flexible button 4

Description
h Off
The camera enters shooting or playback mode without displaying
the welcome screen.
i On (default setting)
The camera displays an animated welcome screen and then enters
shooting or playback mode. How often you use the camera and how
many pictures you have taken with the camera affects the displayed
characters.
