Menu:

Administration>Reset and restart the

system

You reset the switch:

As a first attempt to fix an error condition; for example, the
FAULT LED is on

❑

To download software through a modem

❑

To reset all statistics counters to zero

To reset the switch

Reset the switch in one of three ways:

Select

Administration>Reset and restart the

system;

Press on the switch’s front panel; or

Disconnect the power cord, then reconnect it.

The switch first undergoes a Power-on Self Test (POST) process that
takes only a few moments; then the switch becomes operational
again.
