To delete or rename VLANs
1. Select Virtual LANs>Virtual LAN definitions to
display the list of VLANs similar to the following screen (four
VLANs are defined for illustration purposes):
2. Select the VLAN name you want, for example, Upper Deck; then:
❑ To delete the name from the list, enter a single asterisk (*).
❑ To rename the VLAN, enter the new name.
You cannot delete Default VLAN but you can rename it. If you
delete a VLAN that has ports assigned to it,
the ports’ VLAN
assignments revert to switch’s Default VLAN.
