Power Check
Check the power (PWR) LED on the front of the AT-MR912TX. This green
LED should be illuminated.
If the power LED is not on, check both ends of the AC power cord. Make sure
the power cord is plugged into a functioning wall outlet and that it is properly
inserted into the AT-MR912TX power receptacle on the back of the unit.
Note
There is no “power” switch on the AT-MR912TX per se. If the power
cord is properly connected, the hub should be receiving power.
Is the Link/Activity LED illuminated?
The Link/Activity LEDs on the front of the AT-MR912TX will illuminate when
a proper connection between the corresponding 100Base-TX port and the
equipment connected to it is established. If this LED is not illuminated, check
for the problems listed below and make corrections as necessary.
Problem 1:
The cable has been cut, damaged, or is the wrong type of cable.
❑
Solution 1:
— Try making the connection with a different cable. Be sure you are
using an undamaged cable of the correct type.
Problem 2:
Connected equipment is not turned on or not operating properly.
❑
Solution 2:
— Check the connected equipment (computer, another hub, etc.) and
turn on the power.
Problem 3:
There is signal loss between the hub and one of the attached network
nodes.
❑
Solution 4:
— Make sure the distance between the hub and the connected network
device is no greater than 100 meters.
— Make sure you are using Category 5 cable.
