Connectivity Testing

Follow the steps outlined below to test for a valid connection as well as confirm
the correct operation of the network.

1. Connect port 1 and port 2 of a single AT-MR912TX to two nodes or

workstations and turn on the hub power supply by connecting the AC
power cord.

2. Check to make sure the Link/Activity LEDs of both port 1 and port 2 are

illuminated.

3. After confirming that port 1 and port 2 are operational, remove the power,

reconnect one of the computers to another port, turn the power back on,
then repeat this communications test with all of the ports.

4. Verify the connection in each port by checking the Link/Activity LED and

performing the communications test as described in steps 2 and 3.

5. Once each port of a single AT-MR912TX hub has been tested, check the

connection between computers of two different AT-MR912TX hubs (if your
configuration has more than one hub).
