4. On the master switch, assign an interface to the VLAN serving as the
common VLAN among the switches of the stack.
5. On the master switch designate the interface assigned to the common
VLAN as the local interface.
The menus interface supports the management of routing interfaces. For
instructions, refer to Chapter 29, “Internet Protocol Version 4 Routing
Interfaces” on page 697. However, if you also want to create static routes
or add RIP, you must use the command line interface.
Note
The initial configuration of the enhanced stacking feature on a
master switch must be performed through a local management
session.
