How This Guide is Organized
This guide is organized into the following sections
Section I: Basic Operations
The chapters in this section explain how to start a management
session and perform basic tasks including configuring the IP
configuration of a switch, port parameters, SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c,
enhanced stacking, trunking and mirroring, and viewing Ethernet
statistics.
Section II: Advanced Operations
This section includes information about the file system, uploading and
downloading files, using the event log, and working with classifiers,
Quality of Service, and Denial of Service prevention.
Section III: IGMP Snooping, MLD Snooping, and RRP Snooping
The chapters in this section describe IGMP Snooping, MLD Snooping,
and RRP Snooping.
Section IV: SNMPv3
The chapter in this section describes SNMPv3.
Section V: Spanning Tree Protocols
This section includes information about the spanning tree, rapid
spanning tree, and multiple spanning tree protocols.
