Displaying the GIP Connected Ports Ring
To display the GIP connected ports ring, perform the following procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type 2 to select VLAN Configuration.
The VLAN Configuration menu is shown in Figure 199 on page 602.
2. From the VLAN Configuration menu, type 6 to select Configure GARP-
GVRP.
The GARP-GVRP menu is shown in Figure 211 on page 632.
3. From the GARP-GVRP menu, type O to select Other GVRP
Parameters menu.
The Other GARP Parameters menu is shown in Figure 215 on page
638.
4. From the Other GARP Port Parameters menu, type 3 to select Display
GIP Connected Ports Ring.
The GIP Connected Ports Ring menu is shown in Figure 219.

The GIP Connected Ports Ring menu displays the following
information:
GARP Application
Identifies the GARP application, that is, “GVRP.”
GIP Context ID
A number assigned to the instance for the GIP context.
