SET SNMPV3 TARGETPARAMS
Syntax
set snmpv3 targetparams=
targetparams
username=
username
[securitymodel=v1|v2c|v3] [messageprocessing=v1|v2c|v3]
[securitylevel=noauthentication|authentication|
privacy] [storagetype=volatile|nonvolatile]
Parameters
targetparams
Specifies the target parameters name, up to 32
alphanumeric characters.
username
Specifies the user name.
securitymodel
Specifies the security model of the above user
name. The options are:
v1
Associates the Security Name, or User
Name, with the SNMPv1 protocol.
v2c
Associates the Security Name, or User
Name, with the SNMPv2c protocol.
v3
Associates the Security Name, or User
Name, with the SNMPv3 protocol.
messageprocessing Specifies the SNMP protocol that is used to
process, or send messages. Configure this
parameter only if you have selected the SNMPv1 or
SNMPv2c protocols as the security model. If you
have selected the SNMPv3 protocol as the security
model, message processing is automatically set to
the SNMPv3 protocol. The options are:
v1
Messages are processed with the SNMPv1
protocol.
v2c
Messages are processed with the
SNMPv2c protocol.
v3
Messages are processed with the SNMPv3
protocol.
securitylevel
Specifies the security level. The options are:
noauthentication This option provides no
authentication protocol and no
privacy protocol.
