Connecting to a Registered (Already Paired) Device
1. From the Registered List, highlight the device and
press .
2. If you are unable to connect with the device a pop-up
appears in the display. Press Yes to retry.
Disconnecting from a Bluetooth Device
Ⅲ From the Registered List, highlight the device and
press Off.
Managing Your Registered List
Ⅲ From the Registered List, highlight a device and press
Options. The Options let you Remove or Rename this
device, set Incoming Security, Discover what Bluetooth
profiles apply, review Device Information, Send a Name
Card (Contact information), and get files from this
device.
Bluetooth Settings
The Bluetooth Settings menu provides the ability to view and
change the device name, show the visibility, and set the
security for the device.
To access Bluetooth settings:
Ⅲ From the Bluetooth menu, select Bluetooth Settings.
The following options appear in the display:
• Enable / Disable: Turns Bluetooth on or off. (For more
information, see “Turn Bluetooth On/Off” on page 88..)
• Discovery Mode: Select On for other devices to see your
device, or Off for no visibility.
• Device Name: Shows your phone’s handset name. You can
change this name. Enter text changes and press . (For
more information, refer to “Entering Text” on page 23.)
• Supported Profiles: Lists the Bluetooth profiles your phone
supports. For descriptions of the profiles, press View.
• Device Info: Shows the Bluetooth Type, Status, and Address of
your phone.
