The pressure stability indicator is useful as it indicates instability in
the pressure measurement. The pressure instability may result from
different reasons depending on the application:
- In outdoor barometric pressure measurement, high wind speeds can
induce notable pressure instability.
- Building automation systems may also introduce pressure
fluctuations, and for example opening the door of a room can often
result in temporary pressure instability.
