Finding an Entry in the MAC Forwarding Table
To find an entry in the table:
1 Open the MAC Forwarding Table Menu by
typing
f on the Configuration Menu.
2 Type f to find an entry.
3 Enter the MAC address you want to locate at
the prompt.
4 Press return.
If the address is found within the table, it is
displayed along with the port number.
If the address is not found, the message “No
Such Entry” is displayed.
Setting the Age Out Timer
1 Open the MAC Forwarding Table Menu by
typing
f on the Configuration Menu.
2 Type s to set the timer.
3 Enter the number of seconds you want the
addresses to remain in the table.

Note: The default is 300 seconds.
4 Press return.
